A few people have been reporting that a Y2k38 bug has already started. It affects IM programs like GAIM, Yahoo, MSN Messenger and the like when you set your computer’s clock past the date 2038. I haven’t tried this so I don’t know if it affects me. Very weird…

This guy decided to cover up his NES entirely out of Lego. It fits it smoothly with no movement at all. It looks pretty cool to me. Imagine all those 30,000 lego bricks he used, I wonder how long it took for him to build it?

This guy uses a dremel screwdriver at its lowest rotation speed to effectively remove scratches from the iPod screen. If you decide to do this remember to set it to a slow speed, because if it goes to fast it “would cause heat to build up because of friction, and possibly melt the iPod screen to an even more unusable point”. So be careful and try at your own risk. It is kind of like a metal buffer!

This is an interesting article I found on Digg.com. It goes through each in-depth, and I think it is a worthy article. It is very helpful for you to see the downsides of a Plasma TV. Although they may seem great and fantastic, they do have their problems. And with the prices of Plasma TV’s decreasing, more and more people want to buy one. I, personally, prefer LCD TV’s as their pixels are much smaller which means the images are clearer. LCD’s also have better contrast ratios.

Control this guy’s train set from the Internet using your computer. Online 24/7 with dual webcams. Internet controlled airsoft gun coming soon as well. This seems pretty cool, go try it out. I haven’t got it to work yet, even with IE. But this is at school, I’ll try it at home later!
UPDATE: I have successfully tested this at home. The came isn’t 100% live, as it updates in intervals. It works well though.

He claims that the controller will feature:
-Wifi Connectivity
-Hot and Cold feedback regions (get blown up, it gets hot)
-Tactile feedback regions (apparently areas of the controller can “push” against your hand)
-The Gamecube controller port will be used to charge the controller
These sould pretty cool, but whether they are true, I don’t know…

London police are urging people who were near the scenes of Thursday’s deadly bomb blasts in the British capital to send in any information they may have captured on their mobiles phones. The city’s police force said on its Web site Sunday that police believe such images could contain vital information and provide a crucial piece of the “investigative jigsaw” in a “painstaking and complex inquiry.” Police are urging people to send their material to images@met.police.uk. Images such as the one above, are of great use to the police, so if you have any, send them in.

NASA’s Cassini probe will pass just 175km from Enceladus, a 500km-wide chunk of rock and ice with surface temperatures that hover around -180C.
I think this is very interesting and cool.
I have a new WordPress blog! Yay! It looks a lot better than the old one, it is also easier to update and configure.
