A company called Datel has unveiled a portable 4GB hard drive addon for the PSP. This includes a X2 battery (3600mh) so that you can play your games for even longer. There is no retail price listed, but the post says that it will cost less than a 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo (w00t) which costs between $150 – $200. This is similar to a product which converts the PSP’s Memory Stick to a Compact Flash adapter (that has been tested with a 6GB microdrive, but isn’t for sale yet). I really like the idea that it has an X2 battery, I would have never thought of that. It seems like a really good idea, but I am worried that something might happen to the hard drive, it would be better if it was a flash drive, althought that would be more expensive. I hope to see a review of it sometime in the future.
