SmashMyiPod.com is dedicated in raising $400 to buy and iPod and destroy it inside the Apple Store they bought it from. Engadget incorrectly identifies the iPod as a 5G iPod with video. But it is easily distinguishable from the photos that it is a 4G iPod. If they bought the iPod from an Apple Store like they say and they destroyed it inside the Apple Store, why wasn’t it a 5G iPod, when the date on the photos shows 20/10/2005 which means the 5G iPod has already been released. An interesting comment on Engadget left me wondering.
Um, that’s definitely NOT an iPod w/ video. They collected $400 (+$151 extra) and spent it on an iPod 20GB??? How stupid. They probably already owned the 20GB, smashed it, and bought a brand new 5th gen for themselves. Anyone that donated is officially a sucker.
I think this comment is spot on. Every (ok, maybe not every) website is out there to scam people from money. Maybe this is one? I’ll leave you to decide for yourself.
