Xbox 360 sells for $920 on eBay Canada
Published November 1st, 2005 in Gaming, Microsoft, Technology
An eBay Canada auction that ended 2 days ago, sold an Xbox 360 with accessories for $920 (US). That would be around £484.21, which is nearly double the price of the Xbox 360 premium package. Although in US$ it would be more than double the price of the Xbox 360. The title says “GUANRATEED TO SHIP BEFORE RELEASE DATE!!” which I quite frankly don’t believe. It will ship later and the seller will say something like ‘post was slow, sorry’. In the end whoever bought this will get it, probably, later than everyone by only a day or two and will have paid twice the price. Even if it would ship before everyone else got theirs, who would pay twice the price for a console when in a few days it will be worth much less. Here is a small excerpt from the description:
This is for one brand-new, sealed Premium XBOX360 Package. You get the ultimate package including the wireless controller, 20Gb Hard Drive, Xbox360 Headset, Xbox360 Component HD A/V cable, Xbox360 Ethernet connectivity cable, and the Xbox360 Media Remote – all the goodies that the standard “core” bundle doesn’t have. The bundled game will either be Madden NFL 2006 or Need For Speed Most Wanted.
– PLUS –
You will receive a handy Heavy Duty Aluminum Xbox Carrying Case (Intec model #G8262C) to fit your console, remote(s), cables, and game(s). The actual case you will receive looks much better than the one pictured below, it has a nice Xbox logo on it.
Who knows, we’ll see later after the Xbox 360 is released in the US whether the buyer actually received the console.
