This is one story that really concerns me. Somehow someone managed to get ahold of the allocations list for Xbox 360′s that Tesco and ASDA have. As you can see by the numbers above (from the Tesco list) the numbers are strickingly low. With Tesco only getting a total of 1100 consoles (700 premium and 400 core) for the whole of the UK. Peterborough is the closest Tesco that will have the 360 for the midnight launch and they are only getting 6 premiums and 3 cores, so I would have to arrive really early to get the premium. I would love to go and wait for one but Santa already told me that he can get me one, but for next year
But at least I’ll get one (I hope) as people still don’t know when the next batch will be released and it is anticipated that the stock count will be zero by tomorrow (maybe not for the core). I am quite sad to see this but with the same happening in America, it isn’t surprising.
As with ASDA, the closest one to me is Corby (which is closer than Peterborough) but I don’t know whether they are having a midnight launch. Corby doesn’t have a very good reputation so it could be a little risky
They are getting 6 premiums and 2 cores which is quite close to the Peterborough count. This is surprising as Peterborough is an awfull lot bigger than Corby. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow…
