Mac mini server up and running

MySQL

As well as having a look at the Xbox 360 at GAME yesterday, I was looking through my Mac and remembered that it came installed with an Apache server. I was a bored so I downloaded PHP and MySQL to try and set up a local server that can run wordpress. After some hours of agonising pain and guessing it managed to work. The screenshot above shows the MySQL administration panel that I installed into my applications. I can edit users, databases and fiddle around with the settings. But I have no intention of doing that incase it ceases to work. It isn’t working exactly as I had hoped, but I can do all the things that I do on my blog that I want to.
Next thing to do is try and make it accessible via the WWW.

UPDATE: I have tried to configure my router and my Mac to let it do onto the internet. I have also set up a Dynamic DNS through DynDNS. But I’m not sure if it works since I am at home. If anyone could verify this for me by accessing it here (AND here) and post a comment on whether it succeeded or not. If it didn’t work tell me what was brought up when you clicked on the links (make sure you try both). Thanks.
