Pictures of the Xbox Lounge in Tokyo

This is a cool Flickr slideshow showing you the insides and outsides of the Xbox Lounge in Tokyo. Cool place is you ask me, but Microsoft only launched it as a publicity event for the Xbox 360, as the original Xbox wasn’t popular and Microsoft wanted to get some ground. But there are still loads of unsold 360’s floating about in Japan with various offers and low low prices. Interestingly though, Microsoft built this place and had it decked out with a mini shop, bar and 360’s, but it is closing in just over 2 weeks on 15th January. I don’t see why they don’t make a place like this in the US or the UK as it would be hugely popular and they would gain quite a lot of money (unlike the apparent price to make a 360 being $715). I see why they would do it, but why spend the money to keep it open for a month? There really is no point, it is plain stupid.
