Sure, the catering at Google is legendary, but it’s the snack rooms that blew me away – forget Microsoft’s free sodas, they got Wholefoods size bins of fruitloops and m&m’s for free. It’s like the dotcom boom never ended. I’m amazed they can walk to their cars at the end of the day – I fully expect a Google Infarct Room to be opened within two years.
The Google employees not only get free food from the on campus restaurant, but they also get free snacks in a special snack room! There are photos of the food that Google serve in their restaurant here. Looks like they have some nice facilities. I don’t know about you, but if I was working for Google I would find it hard to concentrate with all the sweets!
