More of the iPod video(?)

MacShrine had some pictures of what they claimed to be the new iPod, but with some threats from Apple and the DMCA they had to take it down (I didn’t manage to get a post up about it in time, but it was the usual big screen with the 5G’s design). Now they said “Screw the DMCA… New Picture!”. Looks quite real, and the model listed above (you can’t see it from the image above as made it smaller, bigger picture after the link) is A1185.
I don’t think that Apple would put ‘AV’ beside it, as if you look at the mini and nano they only have ‘iPod’. However the name iPod AV suggests that it can do more than just play video, perhaps record from TV or something else. This AV part seems interesting though and many people will disagree on what it suggests. Some people think that Apple would be unlikely to use ‘AV’ and would rather use ‘Video’, others make think this as an approach for Apple to get into the living room. I don’t know, I’m just going to wait until Apple says something. I think 40GB is quite small for a video player, especially when it has a big screen and the smallest normal iPod is 30GB. If it is real, then they must have a bigger size (~80GB) for those who actually want it (believe me, there are people who need that space).
