PlayStation Magazine ‘reveals’ PS3 release date and price

The folk over at Team Xbox picked up the latest issue of The Unofficial PlayStation Magazine which had some very interesting information. It claimed to know the launch date and the price of the PS3. It states that the PS3 is supposed to be launching in early November — along with HUB, it’s online gaming service (much like Xbox Live) — with a price $399 for US and €322 (~£207.97, though that price would probably be a lot higher in the UK because of taxes).
Though the magazine is a pretty reuptable source with many inside men, you should consider this pure speculation until Sony comes out with a press anouncement or statement.

The US $ 399 indicates that we in Australia will have very similar pricing to that of Xbox 360 (AU $649) high end model which is a good sign. Can’t wait for it to come out so I can finally compare it with Xbox and decide which way to go.
