Updating the Blog: Part 2
Published May 20th, 2006 in GeneralI have been using the K2 theme for Wordpress and I downloaded the SVN in hopes that all the cool new features would work. I tested it out on my apache server on my mac mini with no problems, but now none of the ajax features work. So I have to down-grade backto the previous version and re-style the site. So many problems
Anyway most of the site should look like this when it is finished, the problems are with the features that make the site pleasant to use. Feedback for the site is welcome!
Note: Because of some problems with the menu bar, it may show up out of aligned in Safari and Firefox for Mac (but should be fine on Windows) and in IE. I am working to fix this, but I hope the menu is still accesible and useable.
This problem has now been fixed: However if you are using Firefox on Mac you will continue to have a miss-aligned menu bar, for some reason Firefox on Mac displays it different to Firefox on Windows.

Nice Job! Looking good so far!
Lookin’ good
All the tabs are wrong in FF1.5.0.3 on XP, they don’t match up to the background.
I have fixed it for Firefox on Windows. The problem is the menu is position: relative; so that any small change in the way the browser handles the fonts and positioning, it misalignings the whole thing. The thing that is annyoing me is that in IE the homepage has a different size font than the other pages, so the menu is fine on the homepage but it is buggered for the rest of the pages (in IE of course) and I don’t know why!
Another thing is that the menu is offset by 3px upwards in Mac FF1.5.0.3 when it shows up fine in Windows IE. If it is the same browser why is there a difference?
Thank God it all works fine in Safari!
Ok, the only place it doesn’t display correctly now, is in Firefox for Mac!
