My dad had previously wanted NTL's cable TV but we don't get it in our area. We've had Sky for a while now, ~ 6 years and we really didn't consider switching as it was fine for us. Mostly my dad had heard of Sky's offering through adverts and the Sky website, so that's why we knew nothing about NTL/Telewest's offering.
